Rates Remissions for Heritage Buildings

Nelson City Council is offering these rates remissions in order to encourage the retention and maintenance of heritage buildings in Nelson. All owners of heritage buildings listed as either Group A or Group B in the Nelson Resource Management Plan who register a commitment to maintaining their buildings are eligible for the remission.

Note: Applicants who successfully applied in 2021 are not required to reapply until the next three-year cycle commences in July 2024.
