Summer Events in Nelson

We hope you enjoyed attending 'Much Ado About Nothing' as much as the Barden Party troupe enjoyed performing it.  More Shakespeare as you've never seen it before next summer.

A wonderful selection of nine different family movies was screened across 17 evenings in parks from Nelson to Tākaka in January/early February 2023.  See you in the parks at twilight for more movies next summer.

The Tāhuna Summer Beach Bus has gone back to it's yard after another busy summer transporting locals, holiday makers, Bay Dreamers and cruise ship passengers around the coast between Nelson city and Tāhunanui.  

A great night local live music, food stalls, games and picnics was enjoyed by many.  Thanks to sponsors NBS and Beggs Music, plus Flexitenz, Hire Stage, Gravity Events and Nelson Arts Festival Trust.

So many bears, so much fun!  See you in the woods again next year!

An all-local line-up of bands helped us celebrate our way into 2023 in Nelson City centre, featuring Reece Milton, Papercity, Liam Poole + Friends and The Crayons.  Happy New Year everyone.

After four days of laughter, gravity-defying feats and wow moments the Nelson Buskers Festival 2023 has been and gone but will be back in January 2024 with another line-up of extraordinary performers from around the world.
