Where does NBus go?
NBus runs between Nelson and Richmond, via Tahunanui and Stoke or Bishopdale and Stoke as well as local bus services around Nelson (Atawhai, The Wood, NMIT, The Brook, Victory, Nelson Hospital, Washington Valley and Richmond). For more information visit the Routes & Timetable page.

Where can I buy tickets for NBus?
You can purchase your single trip ticket from the bus driver when getting on the bus.
Bee Cards can be obtained at BeeCard.co.nz, SBL offices, Nelson, Stoke and Richmond libraries and the Nelson and Richmond Council offices.
Can I take my bike on board NBus?
Yes, you can take your bike on all daytime buses. NBus is equipped with an outside bike rack that is capable of holding two bikes. You can find details of how to attach your bike to these bike racks in this brochure. (465KB PDF)
Is NBus wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the buses between Nelson and Richmond have easy access for wheelchair users. Please contact SBL if you need to know whether a specific trip will be wheelchair accessible, as very occasionally another bus may need to be substituted which may not be accessible.
Can I take my pram/pushchair onto NBus?
Yes you can, provided your pram or pushchair can be folded down.
Does NBus run at the weekend?
