Two buses run at busy times
There are two buses used on the busiest NBus services of the day, 8am from Richmond to Nelson and 3.30pm from Nelson to Richmond.
NBus Services for Christmas and New Years 2018-19
25 Dec: No service on any routes.
26 Dec, 1 and 2 Jan: Routes 1 and 2 will operate on the Saturday timetable. No services on routes 3-7.
Bus stop moves back to Queen Street
A new permanent bus stop outside the police station on Queen Street will operate from Friday 6 July.
Temporary change to the bus stops in central Richmond
The Queen St bus stop has moved to Talbot St, near Pak’nSave. The stop will move to its permanent location outside the Police Station once the Queen Street Upgrade is complete.
NBus services over Christmas and New Year
Monday 25 December (Christmas Day)
No service all routes
NBus Stoke Loop service will stop from 1 July
The Stoke Loop (route 7) of the NBus Service will stop operating from 1 July 2017.
Queen St Richmond Bus Route Change
From 1 February 2017, during the Queen Street Infrastructure Upgrade Project, there will be changes to bus stop locations in central Richmond.
Route 5 minor change September 2017
From 18 September 2017 there will a slight interruption to the extra off peak loop on Route 5 (Victory). A short section of Kawai Street South and York Terrace (shown below) will have no bus service for approximately six weeks due to a road closure while a major stormwater upgrade is carried out. Please walk further down Kawai Street South, beyond the area of the closure to access the bus service as normal. Any inconvenience this causes is regretted.
NBus Services Easter 2019
There will be no bus services on Good Friday. Saturday and Sunday are not affected. Monday's NBus will only run routes 1 and 2.

The new NBus App for iPhone is now available on the Apple App Store! It has updated timetables (including the new Stoke Loop), a more useful route map and more information.
